These Pilot Program Terms ("Pilot Terms") apply when you pay for and use Akrue's paid pilot program, currently offered as the 6-Week Challenge ($25 AUD, one-time payment for 6 weeks of platform access).
These Pilot Terms apply in addition to, and incorporate by reference, our general Terms of Use and Privacy Policy — including the acceptable use, intellectual property, disclaimer of warranties, and limitation of liability provisions set out there, which are not repeated here. Where these Pilot Terms are inconsistent with the general Terms of Use in relation to your paid pilot access, these Pilot Terms take precedence.
You must be at least 16 years of age to create a pilot account or make a payment to Akrue, consistent with the eligibility requirement in our general Terms of Use.
By completing payment for pilot access, you agree to be bound by these Pilot Terms, our general Terms of Use, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund Policy. This is separate from, and a further step beyond, simply joining our waitlist — agreeing to these documents is a condition of completing your purchase.
Your $25 AUD one-time payment buys 6 weeks of access to the Akrue 6-Week Challenge from the date your access is activated: 55 self-paced lessons covering payslips, tax, superannuation, budgeting, and the basics of investing.
The 6-Week Challenge is lesson content only. It does not include the investment simulator or any other feature described on our membership page unless we tell you otherwise.
Payment is processed by Stripe Checkout. Akrue does not receive or store your card details — see our Privacy Policy for how Stripe handles your payment information.
Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy, which sets out the 7-day refund window and your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Please read it before you pay.
Our intention is to move pilot users onto an annual subscription plan once your 6-week access period ends, so you can keep learning and using the platform.
Our commitment to you: if the full annual product isn't ready when your 6 weeks lapse, your existing access continues. We will not cut off your access simply because Akrue isn't ready to offer the annual product yet.
We will contact you before your 6-week access period ends with details of how the annual subscription will work, including its price, billing, and renewal terms. Those details will be set out in an update to these Pilot Terms, which we will notify you of by email in line with Section 7 below, before any annual subscription charge is applied to you.
You're responsible for keeping your account password confidential and for all activity that happens under your account. Let us know straight away at admin@akrue.app if you think someone else has access to it.
The acceptable use rules in our general Terms of Use apply to your use of the platform, in addition to any pilot-specific rules we tell you about during onboarding.
We may update these Pilot Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Where changes are material — including changes to pricing, billing, or how your access works at the end of your 6 weeks — we will notify you by email before the change takes effect.
These Pilot Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, consistent with our general Terms of Use.
